Young adolescents at this stage of their education require an engaging, holistic curriculum that is relevant and meaningful. Well-resourced and trained teachers provide lots of rich material and make links to local and important global issues. We help provide a rich inquiry based environment, where we help prepare them for academic study. We guide them in becoming aware of their own learning, such as the ability to locate, critically evaluate and communicate information. Also, at Utahloy, we’re keen to develop intercultural awareness and an understanding of the history and traditions that underlie identity.
At Utahloy, we are proud of our wide subject range. We offer a big selection of Mother Tongue programmes with many languages. Also, besides standard subjects, we include Technology, drama, sport and music.
Trips week is always very popular and the school is keen to offer students the opportunities of further Activities Outside the Classroom. Clubs offered for example are Roots and Shoots, Model United Nations, cooking, music and sporting opportunities.
